Last year, the actress and comedian publicly announced that she is a lesbian. She married her female partner, Alex, in October 2008 in California. This year, Alex gave birth to twins Olivia Lou and Lucas Claude.

Wanda Sykes’ wife came to the forefront last November when Sykes revealed at a marriage rights rally that she’s gay and married. Her wife Alex gave birth to twins just a few months ago.
Check out Wanda Sykes’ special, “I’ma Be Me” on HBO this Sunday, October 10 at 10 p.m. Sykes will kick off a Saturday night talk show next month on Fox.
