Annie Yi reflects on the past year - Everything has been great: Singer Annie Yi (伊能静) updated her blog with a greeting post on the first day of Lunar New Year. She wrote, "In the past year, many memorable things happened; just as they flashed back before me, I realized how great things had been for me." She was being criticized for giving thanks despite coming face on with a major scandal in her life.

Yi was caught in an extramarital affair when she was seen hand in hand in Beijing with Taiwanese celebrity Victor Huang WeiDe (黃維德) last November. She is married to popular Taiwanese host and singer Harlem Yu and has one son. Yi and Yu had always been looked up to as a model couple. It has only been two months since her affair saw light, yet Yi expressed thanks for the beautiful things that had happened in the past year, seemingly unregretful about the scandal which broke up her "model family".
