Countdown with the world at Boon Lay takes place at Boon Lay Place, hosted by Wendy Zeng and Samuel Chong.

Guest of Honour, Mr K Shanmugam, Minister for Home Affairs & Minister for Law and special guests, Dr Amy Khor, Minister of State, Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Mayor, South West District and Mdm Ho Geok Choo, MP for West Coast GRC, Adviser to Boon Lay Grassroots Organisations, will grace the event.

The Countdown @ Boon Lay 2011 celebrates its eighth year of birth with the theme “We are the World” that promises all resident party-goers a unique cultural experience.

Our street carnival will be separated into four sections representing Asia, America, Europe and Africa. An exciting line-up of acts will take the streets; Firebreathers, Mardi Gras Dancers and Japanese Cosplayers are some of the many acts that will intrigue and amaze.

The stage promises to be similarly spectacular. Veteran singer Rahimah Rahim and internationally recognised Taiwan drama king, Chen Zhao Rong will be highly anticipated.
