Tyler Treated For Head, Neck And Shoulder Injuries: Steven Tyler, Aerosmith singer, was rushed to the Rapid City Regional Hospital after falling off the stage during a live performance at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Tyler was dancing during their track "Love in an Elevator" at the 69th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally but got too near to the edge of the stage. He suffered head, neck and shoulder injuries. The seriousness of the 61-year-old singer's injuries was unknown as WENN went to press, but Mike Sanborn, spokesman for the concert venue, reveals Tyler was fully conscious when he was taken to the medical center.

Sanborn says, "He was good-natured about it (the fall). He was in good spirits when he got in the helicopter. He was talking and joking with the physician."

The freak accident is the latest in a string of health-based setbacks to have plagued the group's U.S. tour. Tyler canceled a series of gigs after he suffered a leg injury, while bandmate Brad Whitford was forced to step down from touring duties after undergoing surgery for a burst blood vessel. The group pulled out of a planned tour in 2008 and dates earlier this year to allow guitarist Joe Perry to recover from knee surgery.
