The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2011 is one of the world's biggest lingerie runway shows. Supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Anne Vyalitsyna, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge, Lindsay Ellingson and Miranda Kerr will strut their stuff down the runway.

Supermodel Miranda Kerr walks the runway during the Victoria's Secret fashion show, wearing the $2.5 Million Fantasy Treasure Bra, designed by London Jewelers. The bra features nearly 3,400 gems including an astounding 142 carats of diamonds in addition to pearls, citrines and aquamarines set on a Gorgeous Push-up Bra.

The Sybarite is a 16 inch resin artist-doll created by London artists Desmond Lingard and Charles Fegen in 2005. Sybarite dolls are fully articulated mannequin-like dolls and have appeared in several fashion trades. Early dolls were handmade in London by Lingard and Fegen in their workshop. The dolls have 17 points of articulation.

I’m back after spending an evening at the Louis Vuitton Island Maison at Marina Bay Sands. It was an exclusive preview and there are certainly less than a hundred guests within this gigantic store, leaving my family to tour the Maison rather peacefully with our very sweet and charming guide. In short, this store IS amazing. While I’ve been to the other stores in Singapore and the two Maison stores at Hong Kong, there is just something special about the Island Maison.The store feels like a mix between a museum and a luxury cruise liner (especially with the Mezzanine level which does resemble a ship’s deck).

With a grand opening the world-famous French fashion house has opened a new luxury destination, the first Louis Vuitton Island Maison, at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. This truly first ever luxury island features the complete Louis Vuitton offering, from men's to women's collections, to jewelry it even hosts a unique bookstore. Besides the famed architect Peter Marino who designed the project, the building itself presents art from fifteen internationally recognized artists from the likes of Richard Deacon (who created a magnificent sculpture specially for the maison) and the famed illustrator Ruben Tolledo.

Following in the footsteps of H&M and Uniqlo, American casual wear brand Abercrombie & Fitch (A&F) will be setting up its first store in Singapore in the third quarter of 2011.

Ralph Lauren's clothing company fired the model whose body looked emaciated in a touched-up ad because she weighed too much, the woman told the Daily News Tuesday.

Filippa Hamilton - whose hips appeared slimmer than her head in the recent altered ad - said her contract was terminated in April because she was too heavy

Filippa said,

They fired me because they said I was overweight and I couldn't fit in their clothes anymore. I was shocked to see that super skinny girl with my face. It's very sad, I think, that Ralph Lauren could do something like that. I think they owe American women an apology, a big apology. I'm very proud of what I look like, and I think a role model should look healthy.

Venezuelan Stefania Fernandez crowned Miss Universe 2009: Miss Venezuela wins Miss Universe for the second year in a row. Miss Dominican Republic, Ada Aimee De La Cruz, was named first runner-up.

The 18-year-old was crowned by another Venezuelan, Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universe 2008, marking the first time that two contestants from the same country have won the title in consecutive years.

As Miss Universe, Fernandez will have the use of a New York City apartment for the year of her reign, and will receive living expenses. Other prizes include a two-year scholarship at the New York Film Academy; a vacation for two in the Bahamas; and a wardrobe, including evening wear, swimsuits and jewelry.

The competition involves swimsuit, evening gown and interview phases, which a 12-member panel judged.

Miss Dominican Republic, Ada Aimee De La Cruz, was named first runner-up and would assume Fernandez's duties if she couldn't complete her term.
