Authorities say Vogue model Ruslana Korshunova leaped to her death yesterday from her downtown building, where construction netting over her balcony appeared to have been cut. Police inspected the gruesome scene on Water Street.

A gorgeous supermodel fell from her swank downtown apartment to her death yesterday in an apparent suicide, officials said. Ruslana Korshunova, 20, whose face graced the cover of French Elle and Russian Vogue, apparently jumped from her ninth-floor apartment in her Water Street building in the Financial District at 2:30 p.m.
