MBS has issued a statement ("Statement on inappropriate Wall post")
Hi everyone, on 20 September at approximately 10.30pm, a Facebook user posted inappropriate images on our wall. These images were removed within 20 minutes of the post. The user has been blocked from future posting on our Facebook wall.
We apologize if you came across the postings during the 20 minutes and were offended by the postings.
Facebook is an important way for us to connect and engage with you. While we strive to keep discussions and postings open, we will not hesitate to remove content that is offensive, threatening, incites violence or contains nudity and report any inappropriate posting to the authorities.
Keeping with the open nature of the Internet and in the spirit of Facebook, we will continue to welcome sharing on our Facebook wall from our growing community of fans. We continue to monitor our page closely and will be working with Facebook and necessary partners to look at the possibility of preventing a reoccurrence with existing tools without disabling a key sharing function of Facebook.
