When it came to paying their taxi fare after a ride home, STOMPer Phrajile and his wife were shocked when they saw the amount. "The fare read $13,124!" he says.

Said the STOMPer:"We were so surprised that we took a second look but there was no denying it, the fare read $13,124.20!

"We jokingly asked the taxi driver if fuel prices really did go up so much.

"The driver then scratched his head and was perplexed because when he checked his console, the breakdown of the fare was –

"Meter Fare: $12.60
Peak Hour 35%: $4.40
Holiday: $13,107.20

"After which I jokingly asked the driver if his meter was running on Indonesian rupiah.

"He laughed and said there was a glitch in the system, the correct fare was $17.
