of numa numa fame and refuge

I've seen this video before at eBaum and Hugi but I didn't know the background and story to it.

Gary Brolsma, the guy in the video is popular now. He made a video of himself performing a lipsynced version of O-zone's Dragostea Din Tei. In it, he also made some moves in what he called the "Numa Numa Dance" - an arm-flailing, eyebrow-cocked performance executed without ever once leaving the chair.

But he doesn't want to embrace this fame like Dylan Verdi (aka The Youngest Videoblogger In The World) or Ghyslain Raza (aka Star Wars Kid). Gary has taken refuge from his fame in his home.

You can also see the video at HKMacs, The Shaky Kaiser and A Discombobulated Mia

Update: AcidFlask, thanks for the link-up.
