Still shot of convenience store murderer released : Dilipbhai Babubhai "Danny" Patel, 51,was killed around 9 p.m. Wednesday during an apparent armed robbery. He was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot multiple times with a handgun, according to Sheriff Bill Massee. The incident took place inside Patel's store – Lina Food Store– which is located on Irwinton Road near the bypass intersection.

On Tuesday, the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office released a still shot taken from a surveillance camera inside Lina's. The picture shows a black male pointing a gun while wearing a gray shirt, Atlanta Braves cap, thick sunglasses and black pants. The man likely is between 5-foot-9 and 6-feet tall and a slightly heavier build.

A Lina's employee reportedly was working outside of the store at the time of the incident and was not harmed. A second witness also was in the area.
The gunman is described as a black male with a gray shirt and black pants. The man reportedly fled the scene in a tan Toyota Camry heading north on Irwinton Road and back towards town.
