1. Man arrested for threatening UOB bank officers with parcel that might explode

Eyewitnesses told Channel NewsAsia that a man entered the UOB Branch at the City Plaza building in Tanjong Katong on Monday afternoon at about 3.40 pm. He was said to have threatened that a parcel he was holding would explode in three minutes, if he wasn't given money.

2. Guy steals magazines from shop

THE store manager found four magazines missing from his shop at the MRT station. But he did not get a close enough look at the man who stole from him. So, Mr Richard Woo, who is in his 40s, asked to see the footage from the train station's closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras. True enough, the shoplifter was caught in the act on film.
