However Jay's black, winged 'Batmobile' was only shipped to Taiwan this year. It was used primarily as a prop for his TV series Pandamen and is not fit for road usage. His other winged sports car is his NT$38 million (S$1.7 million) Mercedes-Benz SLR 722, which is silver in colour.

The singer-songwriter could only mumble helplessly, "I hope new artistes will relook at their values, and not behave like this."

Applicants can choose to apply for either two, four or six tickets.

Chances of obtaining tickets will be higher if applicants ballot for less tickets.

There is no limit to the number of applications that each NRIC holder can submit. However, only the latest application will be entered for the e-balloting on May 26, 2010.

Those without access to the Internet can also apply through the NDP website via CitizenConnect Centres. The location of SAM, AXS stations and CitizenConnect Centres can be found on www.singpost.com.sg, www.axs.com.sg and www.ecitizen.gov.sg respectively.

Successful applicants will be notified from between June 8 and 17 via the contact numbers they provided.

They can subsequently collect their tickets at HDB Hub (at Toa Payoh) Basement 1, Bedok Room from June 19 to 28 between 9am and 9pm daily.

His teary widow told reporters she felt numb after his death.

'All these years I have been personally involved with Dr Goh. He's a very private person,' she said.

She had favoured a private funeral but deferred to a request from the Government conveyed by Foreign Minister George Yeo for a state funeral to allow Singaporeans to pay their respects to a founding father of the nation.

The band was present at the end of 2009, right before Jupiter moved too close to the sun in the sky to be observed from Earth. When the planet emerged from the sun's glare again in early April, its south equatorial belt was nowhere to be seen.
